【摘要】:Preformedtapesealantsaretacky,deformablesolidsthatareusedundercompressionbetweentwosubstratesinavarietyofsealingapplications.Comparedtoothertypesofsealants,thatis,gunnablesealantsandcaulks,sealingtapesaredesignedtobeessentially100%solidsmaterials.Inuse,thesetapesareintendedtogivelongservicewithminimalweightlossorvolatility.Thisprocedurewillgiveameasureoftheweightlossofapreformedtapesealantafteracontrolledperiodofexposureatanelevatedtemperature.1.1Thistestmethodcoversalaboratoryprocedurefordeterminingtheweightlossafterheatagingofpreformedtapesealants.Note18212;TestMethodC681describesaweightlossorvolatilitytestforknife-gradeglazingcompounds.1.2Thevaluesstatedinacceptablemetricunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3ThesubcommitteewithjurisdictionisnotawareofanysimilarISOstandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
