【摘要】:Thepurposeofthisguideistofurnishqualifiedtechnicalpersonnelwithpertinentinformationforuseinselectingmetalsforoxygenserviceinordertominimizetheprobabilityofignitionandtheriskofexplosionorfire.Itisintendedforuseinselectingmaterialsforapplicationsinconnectionwiththeproduction,storage,transportation,distribution,oruseofoxygen.Itisnotintendedasaspecificationforapprovingmaterialsforoxygenservice.1.1Thisguideappliestometallicmaterialsunderconsiderationforoxygenoroxygen-enrichedfluidservice,directorindirect,asdefinedinSection.Itisconcernedprimarilywiththepropertiesofametallicmaterialassociatedwithitsrelativesusceptibilitytoignitionandpropagationofcombustion.Itdoesnotinvolvemechanicalproperties,potentialtoxicity,outgassing,reactionsbetweenvariousmaterialsinthesystem,functionalreliability,orperformancecharacteristicssuchasaging,shredding,orsloughingofparticles,exceptwhenthesemightcontributetoanignition.1.2Thisdocumentappliesonlytometals;nonmetalsarecoveredinGuideG63.Note1TheAmericanSocietyforTestingandMaterialstakesnopositionrespectingthevalidityofanyevaluationmethodsassertedinconnectionwithanyitemmentionedinthisguide.Usersofthisguideareexpresslyadvisedthatdeterminationofthevalidityofanysuchevaluationmethodsanddataandtheriskofuseofsuchevaluationmethodsanddataareentirelytheirownresponsibility.Note2Inevaluatingmaterials,anymixturewithoxygenexceedingatmosphericconcentrationatpressureshigherthanatmosphericshouldbeevaluatedfromthehazardpointofviewforpossiblesignificantincreaseinmaterialcombustibility.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

【摘要】:ThisspecificationcoversmeltprocessablemoldingandextrusionmaterialsofPFA-perfluoro(alkoxyalkane)fluorocarbonresin.ThematerialsarecopolymersofTFE-fluorocarbonresinscontainingperfluoroalkoxysidechains.ThesematerialswereformerlythesubjectofthisspecificationandSpecificationD6314.Thisspecificationisintendedtoprovideameansforcallingoutplasticmaterialsusedinthefabricationofenditemsorparts.Itisnotintendedfortheselectionofmaterials.Materialselectionshouldbemadebythosehavingexpertiseintheplasticsfieldaftercarefulconsiderationofthedesignandtheperformancerequiredofthepart,theenvironmenttowhichitwillbeexposed,thefabricationprocesstobeemployed,thecostsinvolved,andtheinherentpropertiesofthematerialotherthanthosecoveredbythisspecification.Thisspecificationdoesnotcoverrecycledplastics.Thetestsinvolvedareintendedtoprovideinformationforidentifyingthematerialscovered.Itisnotthefunctionofthisspecificationtoprovideengineeringdatafordesignpurposes.Specimenspreparedbyinjectionmoldingorextrusioncouldyieldtestresultsthatmayvaryfromthevaluesinthisspecification.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thevaluesgiveninbracketsareforinformationonly.Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsportions,Sectionsandofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note1Thisspecification,ISO12086-1(2006),andISO12086-2(2006)differinapproachordetail.Dataobtainedusingeithermaynotbetechnicallyequivalent.
