【摘要】:DuringtheoperationofanROsystem,systemconditionssuchaspressure,temperature,conversion,andfeedconcentrationcanvary,causingpermeateflowandsaltpassagetochange.Toeffectivelyevaluatesystemperformance,itisnecessarytocomparepermeateflowandsaltpassagedataatthesameconditions.Sincedatamaynotalwaysbeobtainedatthesameconditions,itisnecessarytoconverttheROdataobtainedatactualconditionstoasetofselectedconstantconditions,therebystandardizingthedata.ThispracticegivestheproceduretostandardizeROdata.Thispracticecanbeusedforbothspiralwoundandhollowfibersystems.Thispracticecanbeusedforasingleelementoramulti-elementsystem.However,iftheROsystemisbrinestaged,thatis,thebrinefromonegroupofROdevicesisthefeedtoasecondgroupofROdevices,standardizethepermeateflowandsaltpassageforeachstageseparately.Thispracticeisapplicableforreverseosmosissystemswithhighrejectionsandwithnosignificantleaksbetweenthefeed-brineandpermeatestreams.1.1Thispracticecoversthestandardizationofpermeateflowandsaltpassagedataforreverseosmosis(RO)systems.1.2Thispracticeisapplicabletowatersincludingbrackishwatersandseawatersbutisnotnecessarilyapplicabletowastewaters.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
