【摘要】:Theobjectiveofthispracticeistoprovideauniformprocedureforassessingtheresistanceofmedicalglovematerialstopermeationbychemotherapydrugs,andtoestablishaconsistentreportingofthetestdata.1.1Thispracticecoversaprotocolfortheassessmentofresistanceofmedicalglovematerialstopermeationbypotentiallyhazardouscancerchemotherapydrugsunderconditionsofcontinuouscontact.Anassessmentismadebasedonthepermeation(breakthrough)ofninechemotherapydrugsthroughtheglovematerialoveracertainperiodoftime.1.2Itisemphasizedthattheconditionsusedinthisassessmentareintendedtoapproximatetheworst-caseconditionforclinicaluses.Thedatashouldberestrictedtouseonarelativebasiswhencomparingglovematerials.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
